Cork leather is a sustainable material made from the bark of the cork oak tree.

Cork is an ecofriendly alternative to leather that is natural, sustainable, vegan, and PETA certified.

Cork leather has a smooth finish, soft, flexible and light. Its honeycomb cell structure make it water resistant, flame resistant and hypoallergenic. It does not absorb dust and can be wiped clean with soap and water. Cork is resistant to abrasion and will not rot. Cork leather is tough and durable.

We source our cork from Portugal, where 70% of the world’s cork production comes from.

The bark can only be harvested once in every nine years, the cork bark is peeled from the tree by skilled labour men without harming the tree. The processing of cork only requires water, no toxic chemicals and consequently no pollution.

Since the material is stain resistant and waterproof, they can be easily cleaned. Simply use a clean cloth with gentle soapand water to wi[e away any dirt. It is enough to wipe the cork fabric gently.

Do not use any other washing product that could damage it.

Sometimes the cork material darkens after long use . This is normal.
