KIBA Co. Origins

Welcome to KIBA – a brand that represents the strength of "The Fang" and the security of "The Protected." The name stems from the fascinating stories of two celebrated Japanese anime series – Wolf's Rain and Naruto. 


In 2017, we set out to create a manifesto that would define our values and principles. Three key concepts emerged: Best Friend, Life Companion and Family.  

Throughout our naming process, we were drawn to KIBA, the name we gave to our beloved Shiba Inu. Despite considering more SEO-friendly alternatives, KIBA's story and significance were simply too captivating to overlook.

In Wolf's Rain, KIBA  is a devoted pack leader who envisions a Paradise for his pack. At KIBA Co., we share a dream of a world where dogs find their haven, liberated from cages and breeding facilities.

In Naruto, KIBA is a skilled shinobi  (ninja) from the Inuzuka Clan. The members are given their own ninja-dogs (ninken) when they reach a certain age. Thereafter, the shinobi and their dog(s) are practically inseparable. Each member of the clan Each clan member wears a distinctive red fang markings on their cheeks. This marking inspired our logo, symbolizing the profound connection between humans and their canine partners.

At KIBA Co., we believe in the powerful connection between humans and their furry companions, who become an integral part of our lives - They are family.
